Created in 1996, the Association Pierre de Bourgogne promotes Burgundy Limestone in France and
throughout the world.
It regroups and federates all the different activities of the sector: quarriers, fabricators, sculptors, stone masons
and roof slaters.
The Association Pierre de Bourgogne undertakes collective actions on behalf of its professionals, to enrich and
promote their work, their products and their know-how.
As the Organization for its Protection and Administration, it represents the general interests of the member
companies concerning the Geographical Indication, and acts as liaison between the producers and the INPI
(National Institute of Industrial Property).
The Association is subsidised by the Conseil régional de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté
throughout the world.
